A Going Public Internship runs from September 2012 to July 2013 and is for 18-25 year olds.

As with all Going Public’s training, it is based around the “Holistic Learning Triangle”, which is a 3-way balance between:

• HEAD (Quality information in a collaborative learning environment)
• HANDS (Opportunities for many varied ministry experiences)
• HEART (Mentoring to reflect on everything learnt & experienced)

1 Peter 4:10 – “Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God’s grace in its various forms”.

Each individual’s programme is built around their gifts, talents and passions, encouraging them to look outwards all the time, serving and blessing those around them.

“Core” training consists of three modules:

Old and New Testament – a Christocentric Bible Survey

Spiritual Formation – focusing on God’s Mission for his church and how we fit into that corporately and as individuals, and

Leadership Academy – equipping interns to become inspirational servant leaders capable of transforming a generation.

There is a fee of £1,050 for the year, and most of our interns manage to pay their fees and live for the year (including rent, food etc.) for around £2,000 in total.  For those who wish to live at home and to be based in their local church, the costs can be much less.
