Designer Babies – Who Decides?
In post-Christian, twenty-first century Wales, the corridors of power are increasingly motivated by an atheistic worldview and secular humanist ethics – in parliament, the judiciary, the professions, universities, business and the worlds of art, media and entertainment. In this brave new world, autonomy, technology and moral relativism end up ruling by default – autonomy says ‘we want it’, technology says ‘we can do it’ and moral relativism asks ‘why not?’.
